MEMBERSHIP

The AHSTC is cooperative group of individual Austin-Healey regions governed by a common board of directors. The board consists of the presidents from each region, and the corporate officers.

Corporate officers are elected by the Board, as are other positions deemed necessary.

Each regional club operates independently, and elects officers and schedules activities and meetings as desired by the regional membership. All regions have at least a president and a newsletter editor. In addition to local activities, most regions rotate the hosting of ENCOUNTER, the AHSTCs club-wide car meet. On occasion, other all-region events may be sponsored by a given region. A portion of the dues paid by the members of each region are returned to that region to fund local events.

Membership in the club is open to all Healey enthusiasts, regardless of which Healey automobile is owned. In fact, many people join the club in search of a car. Other people join for access to sources of information regarding technical advice on repair or restoration, parts sources, or third-party service providers. Still others join the club to socialize with people having similar interests.

Membership is $35 ($40 for overseas and Non-USA) per year, renewable on your anniversary month.

Members receive our newsletter, the FLASH, on a monthly basis, and may place non-commercial ads free of charge.
