2004 New England 1000 Monday! Stage #1 start. In the rain, in front of the Bentleys!:
Right out of the start in a little town, Ben breaks his clutch rod:
First Checkpoint:
The first hillclimb at Mt. Ascutney was toned down due to the rain. At least we got a good run to the top where the fog, thunder, and lightning started.:
After a few more stages, we arrived at Basin Harbor Club on Lake Champlain in Vergennes, VT. Everyone had their own cabins with some right on the lake. This was also an opportunity to wash cars.:
And, then on to the rally day Tuesday!...
